Hi, guys I still can not believe that my AL-Mamata IMT Enugu can not go online to make things easier for everybody and to reduce coruption. I live in New York, I am currently doing my second degree in Lehman College NY. Lehman can't even reach IMT through the phone to confirm the authenticity of my IMT certificate. This is so bad and disgraceful, IMT has no Phone, no website, no fax. Infact, I regret passing through IMT.

i graduated from this great citadel of learning in late `89 and one remarkable event then was , that I.M.T students as matter of discipline refused categorically to participate in the "BABANGIDA MUST GO" SAGA that forced the then military government to close all the Tertiary institutions in the country. However ,this high disciplinary attitude earned the students a brand coaster bus from the president as an outstanding Institution. After the death of our dear Rector late DR.AMECHI who was like a father to the students with an open door policy where interaction between students and lecturers was highly communicative.Dialogue played great roles in settling disputes between the then administration and students.Every H.O.D played pivotal roles in the departmental affairs .It was a common scene to see two H.O.DS heading to the Rector`s office , because a borrowed departmental Cause time table disfavoured his students.I was shodilly shocked to find I.M.T conspicously missing in the list of upgraded polys to university grade.formerly it used to be I.M.T ,Yaba TECH AND Kaduna as amongst the best three Polys in Nigeria.But has gone wrong that I.M.T IS PRESENTLY LYING IN THE COMATOSE? We must recall that MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY " M.I.T " IN USA was where I.M.T was originally derived its name. Enugu State must live up to the yearnings of the institution. period

i would also like to know the situation of our addmission letters if the fault is the school or jamb itself???

well i happened to be a student from this school and am undergoing a one year i.t programme.i would like to know why the recent setbacks in the school management it so bad/poor in the following areas........late publishing of semesters results,addmission,and about the school security body.pls we need urgent solutions to solve these at hand....thanks

was really comenting this great institute before it wiped off,and now i dont have time to start affresh,imt has really tried for its students as a whole but i would want them to look into the so called ''man'o'war'' in that school and re-address them,The management should also check out those of then that are in school and know what to do about those that are not in school,not bunch of nonetities, who will gang themselves somewhere in the campus there and start molesting female student.

Colliery Comprehensive has produced many great people, but today it is in ruins, and begging for restoration to its former glory. It would be nice if Enugu State Government, and the good people of Ngwo can rise up to the challenge.

i am delighted in the effort of imt management but our effort has not been good enough towards the erection of better structures aned conducive enviromental condition.pls let's put our convenant heads together and ensure the growth and betterment of imt more especially the public administration department [ND1]

hi i graduated from imt,and the comment made by some of the other graduate who also finished fromthe institution is true,because been one of the best institution in Nigeria as then but now i dont think so cos no website,and thereno approprate documentation of the school to show how great the institution was is a shame to the approprate authorities which see the institution as the oil block,since there are no oil well in Enugu thats is why every dick and harryare admitted to the sch whichnow resulted in amry of student in the institution.Enough is enough because even oil deposit does finished like the attitude of the authority i the state.Remain bless imt

pls the management should do something about the population. Its very shameful for a single school to produce such number of graduates in a year.

I am not agreed on the first comment. The quality of personal education depend on individual determination. I am student of said institution and I know the different kinds of challages I encounters during my industrial training and I am able to see thru in all which other student from other university could not be able to survive. The only areas IMT should look thru is in term of population, website and the accomodation, but the structure of learning qualified it to be an institution. Frm jbosco

hi. thanks for the opportunity to air my view concerning this institution that is gradually taking the back seat.i graduated from the department of accountancy but i will say is a personal effort that kept me where i am today. i think is only IMT that has not had a comprehensive website of her own. what a shame that the first is gradually taking the last position.i am not surprised that IMT is no longer among the best polytechnics is Nigeria again.During my time, we were 1548 in a class which has never happened any where in the history of education. the truth is that IMT is a market place and not a school any longer.they are after money not the quality of product they are sending to the labour market.well i will not advice any of my friend or relation to seek admission again i IMT until things get better otherwise the person will become a laughing stock among other seriuos institutions. from Johnbest
